At this time, I am willing to make just about any type of ceramic item, may it be a custom sculpture, personalized pottery, accessories, functional, decorative etc.

I primarily use wheel thrown and hand built techniques, with mid-fire materials including: brooklyn red stoneware, white stoneware, mid range porcelain, and commercially made glazes, underglazes, and stains, but I am willing to expand my range of materials depending on the request.

Below are some examples of custom orders I have done in the past. If you would like to see more of my work, please see my Etsy shop, or check out my Socials.

Custom items can be requested by email by filling out this contact form. You can also order through Etsy if you have an Etsy gift card, but keep in mind the final price may be steeper due to platform fees.

Once you contact me with your request, I will respond usually within a few hours with a cursory Yes/No if I'm able to accept the project. After a design agreement has been made, I will calculate a quote with estimated shipping cost and sales tax. Then, I will send a Square invoice with relevant information for the buyer to place the order. Once the invoice has been paid for, I will request the rest of the buyer’s address so that I have it on file once the order is complete, and optional phone number for ease of communication (through text), and I will begin the project as soon as possible. I will likely check in with updates and/or progress pictures throughout the making process to make sure the order meets expectations. Once the item is finished, it will be shipped as soon as possible.

PRICING & SHIPPING:

  • Custom pieces will be priced individually based on the nature of the request. Prices range based on materials, intricacy, size, and production time.

  • Items must be paid for up front. I will not begin making the item until it has been paid for.

  • Cancellations, refunds, returns and exchanges will not be accepted on custom/bulk orders once production has been started.

  • Shipping and sales tax will be included in the invoice. A basic price breakdown may be requested.

  • Most shipping cost calculations will be based on USPS Ground Advantage. For large projects, buyers may request to pick up the item/meet in the middle for hand delivery and shipping cost will be subtracted/refunded. Special cases will be discussed before order confirmation.

  • I cannot take responsibility for shipping issues/delays once the package is in the hands of the carrier.

TIMEFRAME:

  • The amount of time it may take for the item to get to you, between forming, drying, glazing and firing and any potential material testing could range greatly.

  • For simple items like mugs, bowls, kitchen gadgets etc. It will likely take between 6 and 8 weeks. For larger or more intricate items like sculptures, sets, or bulk orders, it may take much longer. Deadlines will be discussed before the order is confirmed.

  • Rushed orders (needed in 5 weeks or less) may come with an extra cost and will only be accepted on a case-by case basis.

  • If I email the buyer with a question regarding the orders progress, and do not receive an answer within three days, I will proceed of my own accord.

OTHER:

  • I take quality and food safety seriously, so my mid-fire pottery intended for food use must be glazed with tested food safe glazes on food contact surfaces. If you would like a completely unglazed foodsafe piece, there may need to be an adjustment in the materials used which may cause some aesthetic changes and/or increase in price.

  • As is true with all handmade goods, some items may come with small unavoidable flaws such as small dark flecks in a light colored glaze, mild warping etc. If an issue is glaring, I will message the buyer to reach a conclusion, but some things cannot be avoided or fixed, so I ask anyone interested to keep an open mind.
